A synthetic GLP-1 receptor agonist with an extended half-life designed for once-daily administration. One of the earlier GLP-1 analogs to receive FDA approval for both type 2 diabetes and weight management. Studied for appetite suppression, glucose regulation, cardiometabolic marker improvement, and body weight reduction.
