What Is Mazdutide?

GLP-1 receptor agonism provides appetite suppression, glucose-dependent insulin secretion, and slowed gastric emptying. Glucagon receptor agonism adds increased energy expenditure through thermogenesis and lipolysis, and — most distinctively — direct reduction of hepatic fat through glucagon's ability to drive liver fat oxidation.
